Embedded Development for an Powerpc

Hello,

I am using buildroot to generate a root file system (initramfs) that I am then using in the linux kernel from Xilinx.

I am getting a particular error that might be more common than I think:

Freeing unused kernel memory: 944k init
Initializing random number generator... done.
Starting network...
ip: RTNETLINK answers: File exists

This comes when the ifup is called by init (via /etc/init.d/s40network)

Has anyone had this problem before? Could you give me some insight as to what it means? how to solve it?

Thanks in advance!
