dictionary program for pocketpc 2002

i got myself an old pda with pocketpc 2002 (wince) on it. Unfortunately the caddle was lost. I can only install software from a cab file.
I do have a eternet card though. I have been copying files to the device via the Internet.

I want to use the pda as a dictionary, but it was quite hard to find a software shipped in a cab format. Can someone suggest a website that collects softwares in a cab format?

I also want to use install a linux on it so I can use telnet and install program easily, but still hesitating because it seems complicated. I am not sure if I install linux on it, would I be able to install the wince back? Any suggestion?
