Data Connectivity Question

I have a HTC hero with the google Android OS. Nice phone, but a bit of a bitch in Ireland, where it doesn't officially exist.

Is there any way I can discover what the correct settings for my network provider is? I had to hop networks here because the one I was on lifted 16 for 32 MB over three weeks at 49 per MB! Had I gone with any of their offers, it would have cost me even more.

Read the documentation for your provider's supported phones and extrapolate those values to the interface on your phone.

I'm with Meteor. In the support page I get told to download my settings, but they don't have my phone. So they sent me manual settings, which are plain wrong. Each provider here sells a fraction of the phones on offer, and supports only these. Have a look on their shops - vodafone.ie, o2.ie, three.ie, meteor.ie
