Best applications for girls to find assistance... in foreign cities

Good day, I am looking for good advice on which applications can be used by say, girls from Hungary or Poland, who may be in Turkey or Italy, or Japan...for finding the right consulates, the police, the hospitals and banks...

And also for myself, an Australian.

Please advise...

Your country of origin might have a travelers website that would information on visas, suggestions and what to do and who to contact in case of an emergency. Also check with your local Center for Disease Control for suggested immunizations. IMHO being prepared is more important than relying on your mobile phone. Depending on where you travel it shouldn't be a problem finding banks, ATMs or even currency exchange shops especially in the big cities.

Yes, she may not know where she is. Maybe the alphabet is different too. No money, wants to get home. May have just done a runner from someone trying to sell her. Needs the police or goes direct to an airport, or train, or bus station. Or must go via a bank, but does not know where an outlet is that works with the bank back home. She may need to find quick accommodation. She may have been injured in escape. Then she may need hospital care, the police, accommodation and a bank, and a ticket home...
