android: prevent automatic view width adjustment

On my webpage, I would like to allow zooming in / out on an android to allow the user to adjust the view width. But i don't want the android to automatically re-adjust that width when an input area is touched to allow input. Can i prevent this automatic width adjustment from my webpage?

Would have to depend on the app that is used to view the page. Opera is notorious for resizing the page, chrome doesn't do that as much. Basically, it's a browser thing.

Is there no way within my webpage to tell the browser not to do that? Some android directive in css or html or php? Perhaps an attribute within the input field definition?
