A Good Smartphone to Sync with Linux
 

I've been reading many threads about smartphones and being able to sync with linux.. I've owned both Blackberry and Palm and had a hard time sync'g with Linux. More specifically I'm interested using Kmail and Kcontact as the applications of Choice.

Before I even purchase another smartphone, I will find one that works well with Linux, then choose.

Anyone have any ideas? Good success? And I'm looking for something simple, not really complex!!
