[SOLVED] Whisker Menu in Mate?

Is it possible to use the Whisker Menu with Cinnamon or Mate? I like the simpler and more compact layout of the Whisker Menu - at least what I have seen in screen shots.

Thanks ROK. I've asked this question in a couple of other forums and a response I got in one of them suggests that it should work. When I've had a chance to try it out I'll post back to all the forums where I've asked the question.

I installed the Whisker Menu in Mate via the Software Manager, but I don't see how to activate it. Do I need something else?

Though I can't swear to it. Because I only run whisker menu in xfce.

I figure if you go to Menu>All Applications>Preferences>Startup applications

You can get whisker to start up after a mate desktop login from there.

You will have to add whisker menu to the list of startup applications to see.

Like I said, I can't swear to it because I have not tried this.
