Have you looked in the SANE database?

Genius has poor linux support. However, the Colorpage Vivid 1200 range use the sane
gt68xx backend which should be included in your distribution.

Try sane-find-scanner.

Trouble is - this backend provides access to USB flatbed scanners based on the Grandtech GT-6801 and GT-6816 chips - which does not look like yours. Doublecheck the product IDs. (lsusb)
