Smile Squid configuration


Hi I am Amey...I am useing LINUXmint 11 i have configure squid to block web sites but now i want to allow all sites for in lunch hrs 12:00 to 13:00,
Can anybody help me out.....

I am not sure if squid allows for time based policies.

But using an alternate config file, you could set a cron job to restart squid at those times to swap between full access and restricted access.

Thank you.....Fukawi....is there any third party software who does the same thing and work with squid. Atlease time base access.

a quick google search shows that squid guard can do it... http://www.squidguard.org/about.html

you can create acl for particular time.

acl lunch_hours time M T W H F 11:00-13:00
http_access allow lunch_hours
