I'm running Mint 12 on my Asus X53E laptop. Lately I am experiencing very slow startup as Mint waits for the network to be up and running. I think this began with an update a few weeks ago.
Anyone experiencing similar?

Working on a Dell XPS 630 w/ an nVIDIA RAID controller using 2 x 500GB in a Stripe (RAID0).
I'm seeing a 5-minute delay right after the following line;

Note: Even though it skips from 0.53 to 83.3, it waits for about 4.5 to 5 minutes.

Is this what you're seeing too? (Note that I ripped out the 'quite' and 'splash' options from the GRUB2 boot-line)
