[SOLVED] searching download Linux driver for hardware AMD RV670 HD 3800 Series VGA Controller

I'm searching hardware driver(s) for VGA controller AMD RV670 HD Series for Linux Mint 17.1. Can somebody help or tell me a link where I can download the hardware driver. I use two Monitors and want to get higher resolution of graphic/videos. The default installation of the RV670 hardware is only at standard VGA.

The HD3800 was deprecated by AMD and has no binary driver that will work on current distributions. You will have to use the free radeon driver for this. Make sure that the necessary firmware is installed.
