Unhappy password authentication with windows domain


I was able to connect to windows domain from Linux using likewise. but when the password is expired, Linux mint can not change the password. It prompts to change the password ,but the new password not saved. How can i resolve this issue.

Need Helip.

I am using Linux mint 17.3
Domain is windows server 2003

We don't know what you mean by "using likewise". And the VERY FIRST HIT in Google for "how to change active directory password from linux" is:

...a step-by-step guide, listing the commands.

Likewise-Open can be used to authenticate active directory username password from Linux-mint. ( To apply domain policies to client PCs.)

I installed the powerbroker, after that could not login to PC (also with admin as well). then again i installed the powerbroker on a fresh copy of Linux mint , result was same.

Are there any softwares instead of powerbroker and likewise.
