Need to change color of text under desktop icons in XFCE

Black text becomes invisible when placed over a dark background (some of XFCE/Mint's prepackaged wallpaper has dark features to it). Is there any way to change the text color from black to white? I know how to change the font and size of the desktop text, but not the color unfortunately. I know however, that there's a way to adjust the intensity and brightness of colors in wallpaper in XFCE.
