Mint-Fluxbox installer does not ask for creating partitions !
Installing Mint came up to the stage where it gave final warnings that the selected portion of harddisk will be formatted and blah..blah.. There was an Advanced options button. I clicked that only to see the boot loader install option.
From where should I create seperate partitions for /home and /root ??? |
Just a general suggestion (as I'm not familiar with Mint) - if you're in a tinkering mood, try creating your partitions in advance, using something like Gparted. Perhaps the installer will spit out some new options upon seeing multiple partitions.

Thanks for replying, I have already started that process, see this thread : http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...-linux-834875/
But isn't it *dumb*, that Mint itself doesn't ask for creating partitions. I have also put this question in the official Mint forums, they too have not replied yet ! |
I have realized my fault  http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=56418
