Mint 12: sudo aptitude upgrade, /etc/gnome/defaults.list changes

Starting from a fresh Mint install, I tried to install upgrades with the command 'sudo aptitude upgrade' and part way through I got the following dialogue:
Code:
Configuration file `/etc/gnome/defaults.list'
==> Modified (by you or by a script) since installation.
==> Package distributor has shipped an updated version.
What would you like to do about it ? Your options are:
    Y or I : install the package maintainer's version
    N or O : keep your currently-installed version
D : show the differences between the versions
Z : start a shell to examine the situation
The default action is to keep your current version.
*** defaults.list (Y/I/N/O/D/Z) [default=N] ?
This is the result of the 'D' option:
Code:
--- /etc/gnome/defaults.list 2011-11-14 05:23:44.000000000 -0800
+++ /etc/gnome/defaults.list.dpkg-new   2011-10-18 06:32:33.000000000 -0700

It looks like /etc/gnome/defaults.list.dpkg-new has an older timestamp...should I be keeping the current one with no changes?

Well, I went with keeping the current file and everything seems to be okay.

I typically go with 'Y' - the maintainers version.

- seems to work okay.
