Question Logs ,how to find specific log of glib warning/unknown userID

I am on a Linux Mint julia
My system gave me this warning( Glib Warning/ unknown user ID) and shut down my computer when my son, on a microsoft, tried to use my wireless. It happened a few times till we figured it all out.
This time we had glibs shut us down twice maybe thrice. My son does not have a microsoft up any more. We have an adhoc network in the house for the other computers, linux, and use no password. I am sure someone tried to get in but their system must be microsoft. I love Linux
How can I access the logs to show this glib.
Do these logs hold this stuff long, it is about 18 days ago.
I don't know which log to look in . I consider myself a newbie but I follow instructions well.
Thanks for any help

It's not security issue. See this, this or this for an explanation (install latest Plymouth or add "nosplash" directive).

Thanks
The first 2 links give SQl error4
I will update plymouth
Why did this happen when a microsoft tried to link in(my son)? Just coincidence?
The thread you gave indicates it happens mainly on booting.Mine was in the middle of the day, had been up for hours. It would go to black screen with warning and I would have to shut down and reboot.
I see your rep , I am trying to understand better.
Also does this show up in a log and which one?
Thanks again

Probably a forum glitch overthere. Works OK now. Else use the Google or Archive.org cached page.

It -=might=- show up in /var/log/messages or /var/log/syslog*.

If there's updates available they'll probably be visible first in upstream distribution or Debian. Would be good to search their fora and bug trackers for equivalent problems.
