Unhappy LM17.1 latest update and keyboard audio keys no longer working

Now have updated to latest update of LM17.1, and my keyboard audio keys no longer "do what thay are supposed to do". OpenSUE 13.1, Ubuntu 1404 and Centos, again updated as of March 2015, all still work. Any suggestions as to how to fix this? I love LM and use it all the time; but if I cannot mute and change volumn of audio I think I'll just move to Ubuntu until this glich is fixed. BTW, I have 5 distos on this multiboot box; love to play around, and all work except for the latest LM17.1 and its update. Sorry, do not have basic Debian, don't know how that distro is working with my keyboard.

Hello frankbell

Thanks for replying to my question.

Unfortionately LM17.1 now works with my keyboard.
Sorry, I don't know what changed. I tried with two different motherboards, several different OS's and all combinations worked except LM17.1.
Today, after booting the gigabyte mb the audio buttons were working with LM17.1 (thought I'd try again).
Perhaps "something" got stuck; although I had also rebooted and shut down before and that didn't seem to help.
I'm beginning to think the BIOS on the Gigabyte MB is flakey; although the ASRock and ASUS mb's didn't work with LM17.1 when I tried two days ago.
Oh well, such is life.

Again, thanks for responding.
