Lisa (LM12) Mate or Gnome3: Add to panel?

Hi!
Is it possible to enable "add to panel" in Mint 12 Gnome/ 64 bit Mate or Gnome3?
How about other distris with Gnome3?

Gnome 3 is different..... If you want that type of capability, (attempt to) downgrade to gnome 2, or just do what everyone else has been doing, and switch to XFCE.

Hi!
The developers of Gnome3 don't respond to feedback - why stop the updates of Gnome2?
BTW: I dont't know a person (family, friends, neighbours) who wants Gnome3.
