linux mint 7

hi,

I am trying to install linux mint 7 with wubi. once i click "install within windows" button, wubi tries to download the latest copy of linux mint that is version 9, which i dont want.

My question is, is there any way to instruct wubi to install only linux mint ver. 7.

please note that i have ver. 7 cd

if you do not know how to use a old version then you do not NEED it

why do you NEED 7 and not the current 9 ?

try putting your internet off-line & then run the wubi cd again.

once mint is loaded, you should be okay ....
Mint 8 didn't come with wubi.

Mint 7 was a very good version .....

ok, the problem is gui is not working in ver 9. ver 7 works fine and i dont want to spend time on fixing the issue.

managed to solve the problem, just downloaded the iso image again and tried and it worked. for that i struggled for 4 days.
