installing Pygame for Python on Mint8
 

Greetings,

A Pygame lib. exists for Python language, which I'd like have on my comp.
As a novice linuxer dont dare trying to install pygame from download links yet. - As having had bad experience that way with skype .deb, and other stuff. ( packager couldnt install .deb)

Anybody would enlighten me, if had success in this matter? Is there a default way for installing Pygame?

The safe way is via the repositories. Use the Quick search function in Synaptic Package Manager, search for pygame.
