Unhappy How to install tar.gz & tar.bz2 file on Linux min


Sir,
Plz Can u help me to install software of tar.gz & tar.bz2 file On Linux Mint.I can't install any software for this problem.

This is almost exactly like another recent post. Read the following:

Linux Mint may have a different software package manager. Just adapt the conversation from the other thread to the Linux Mint software package manager.

Their's uses *.deb files, with Synaptic or with Mintmenu, which uses a internal script to manage the *.deb file.

The Tarball(s) are a archive format that need the files to be extracted,
an install is not always required, afterwords.
