Unhappy Google earth


I am running linux mimt 8 ,I can not get google earth to work. Otherwise mint 8 is just a super OS.

Google earth may want to use 3D acceleration, do 3D apps like tux racer work?


anyway google maps may be good replacement:

(real time tracking of tour the france!)

Thanks for the reply I do have problem with my VGA,I use a foxconn motherboard k8m890m2ma AMD am2 athlon 64dual core at 3800+. In windows the driver is a deltacrome I got problems with it in Linux Mint ,maybe sombody can give me a to a better driver,Thanks
