Few Questions about LMDE

Hi
1- after install LMDE 2 . i cant install any program using apt ..
and sources file is empty . any advice ?

2- LMDE Beside DEBIAN 8 or 7 ?

3- How to change fonts .. i want install windown fonts ..

What is the output of

and of

$ cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/official-package-repositories.list

When the updates and synaptic are working, then will be the time to deal with the fonts.
