I am two weeks new to Linux so bear with me if I don't phrase things right. I installed Linux Mint because after looking around it seemed to be the most user friendly for a newb and also for my kids to use. But I also wanted something to play around with and get a little more hands on so I decided to dual boot Slackware. I have Mint on the master hard drive and Slackware on a slave drive. The only way I have been able to get both to boot is by using Lilo instead of Grub. Slackware works fine but when I boot Mint I get to the welcome screen and I can't input a user name. My keyboard and mouse both will not work keyboard and mouse are a wireless combo Microsoft Wireless comfort keyboard 1.0a, mouse wireless intellimouse 2.0. When I installed Lilo I installed it to the MBR. Any help would be greatly appreciated even if you could just point me in the right direction to get the info, I have tried to google the info and have searched several forums.

Reason: Left out info
Like I said I am a newb it was just a matter of knowing where to look. I fixed it by reinstalling Lilo to the root partition instead of the MBR and then adding to grub
