Changed from gnome to KDE and have no access to some USB hardware

I changed to Kde and have several issues now, but I will stick to the rules and just post one in here.....I use a USB keyboard and mouse and they work fine, but nothing else will show up in computer folder or the desktop, also put the widget for USB devices on desktop and it says no devices installed even when I have numerous things plugged in???????????????

Try running fdisk -l and post the results.

Edit: with the usb drives plugged in, just in case it wasn't obvious :p
