Black screen 10 minutes 12mate

Every 10 minutes the screen goes black. I have to move the mouse to restore the screen that I was watching. Have looked for screen and power savers can not find anything to turn them off.

What happen to the screen saver and power we use to use to tweak the way we wanted it. Tks for your help.Lisa 12 64Bit DVD using MATE

You can add these lines to your startup (.xinitrc):
setterm -blank 0 -powersave off -powerdown 0
xset -dpms
xset s off
