Zevo Smart Terminal Video problem
Hi:
This thread is not related particullary to a laptop but to a Zevo PC Terminal, armed with a LCD display.
I have configured an usb-boot stick to boot the terminal and install sarge on it(kernel 2.6). The pc boots ok, but when it comes to the installation part the video display is garbaged. There are only some kind of lines on screen, nothing is readable or seeable.
This is the linuxsys.cfg:
label sarge
kernel sarge26
append vga=normal initrd=initrd26.gz ramdisk_size=10396 root=/dev/rd/0 devfs=mount,dall rw --
label sarge1024x768
kernel sarge26
append vga=791 initrd=initrd26.gz ramdisk_size=10396 root=/dev/rd/0 devfs=mount,dall rw --
label sarge1280x1024
kernel sarge26
append vga=794 initrd=initrd26.gz ramdisk_size=10396 root=/dev/rd/0 devfs=mount,dall rw --
I've googled for a search on different options for appaned=vga but nothing has come up.
I guess something is wrong with the configuration or either I need to recompile the kernel image with support for the video driver(built in northbridge CLE266 cpu board.
Can somebody help me with this one?
THANKS IN ADVANCE
Cheers
