Question Zaurus-Handheld Synchronisation Problem

I can not synchronize my new Zaurus SL-5500 with Red Hat (Aurox version).
When I try to synchronize and I type command 'tail -f /var/log/messages' I can see following informations in my terminal:

# hub.c: new USB device 00:1d.1-2.3, assigned ad dress 8
# CDCEther.c: eth1: Sharp SL Series
# usb.agent[26323]: missing kernel or user mode driver a cm
# usb.agent[26319]: missing kernel or user mode driver C DCEther
# usb.agent[26319]: missing kernel or user mode driver u sbnet

Where is the problem

Please, help

"Where is the problem"

I think the first thing to do to diagnose this problem is to check whether the drivers actually exist; You can use the find command to look for the modules:
find /lib -iname "*acm*"
find /lib -iname "*cdcether*"
find /lib -iname "*usbnet*"

If the drivers are not found then you need to do a kernel compile to create the drivers.

It seems all drivers are OK:

[root@icap maro]# find /lib -iname "*acm*"
/lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2149.nptl/kernel/drivers/usb/acm.o
/lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2149.nptlsmp/kernel/drivers/usb/acm.o
[root@icap maro]# find /lib -iname "*cdcether*"
/lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2149.nptl/kernel/drivers/usb/CDCEther.o
/lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2149.nptlsmp/kernel/drivers/usb/CDCEther.o
[root@icap maro]# find /lib -iname "*usbnet*"
/lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2149.nptl/kernel/drivers/usb/usbnet.o
/lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2149.nptlsmp/kernel/drivers/usb/usbnet.o
[root@icap maro]#

"It seems all drivers are OK:"

So the problem may be that the kernel is having trouble getting the right driver loaded automatically. Try using modprobe to load the correct driver before you try to synchronize. Play around with different combinations of synchronize drivers until you get it working by hand.

See:
man lsmod
man modprobe
man rmmod
