xorg.conf can't find r200_dri.so. ???

everything works with the open-source driver except that xorg.conf can't find the DRI driver file "r200_dri.so" I tried locating it, and I counldn't find it. Is there a way to get it back?

everything works fine, I had to re emerge mesa, and move the file from one place to another and now everything is happy

Don't know what distro you are using, but on my Suse 10.1 x86_64, I find r200_dri.so in /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/dri/r200_dri.so and /usr/X11R6/lib64/modules/dri/r200_dri.so

Hope this helps

file is absent, how can I reinstallit

the xorg log file says that it tries to load the file in the path you gave me and its not there, i tried "locate" with the all "dri.so" file names and none came up. I even tried looking in the folders you said and its absent. I may have mistakenly deleted it when I was trying to get the video card to work. Is there a program I can re install to get it back i.e. X, radeon driver, etc

thanks
