Xen and T-60

I'm getting ready to install Fedora Core 6 with Xen on my T60. Can I blow away the 5 GB partition rescue created from factory?

I had use the Rescue and Recovery s/w to perform a image of the HD. Should I need to restore the 5 GB partition, will the image restore it?

Possibly a dangerous advice due to the lack of information: but yes, go ahead and blow it away.

At least I've done it always when dealing with laptops without any intention to run the preinstalled Windows.

someone in the thinkpad forum suggested I use R&R to resize the partition and install Linux on a separate partition.
