working with live linux on low system configuration laptop???

Hi

I have a ibm thinkpad laptop with low system configuration. And i have not too much idea about linux yet. I need to run the system from live cd or dvd. The things which i ll perform on the laptop are programs to listen to music and watch the movie(mpeg, dvd, divx) and some internet application. And i m appreciate if this os dont use huge system content like ram,cpu etc.

System Configuration:

Intel Celeron 797 Mhz
192 Mb of RAM
On board grafic cart and
internal Ethernet card(i think most important part is this.can i find its driver or is this linux see this driver.)

I m appreciate if you help me to find a linux version that respond my demands.

Important note:
I want to use the laptop fastly as much as possible.

Download and burn a release of Knoppix. Right not I'm running v3.9 ( not the newest ) on a 750 Mhz Thinkpad. Knoppix hardware detection is very good, much better than other live CD's. I'm running wireless as well. The latest version of Knoppix had all sorts of problems with udev, the device creating component.

BTW, I don't consider that type of machine under powered for any version of linux, unless you want to run games. I have an old Compaq at 233 Mhz and I run Xubuntu on it. Works well enough for a test machine.
