Wifi issues on toshiba laptop
Okay I purchased a toshiba A505-(something) a few months ago, and installed fedora 12x64. Everythigg works just fine except for the wi-fi. As a result I live on the windows partition because I need internet access most of the time while I'm wandering.
After some googling I'm still not %100 sure how to even begin to figure out what the problem is or even see what wi-fi chipset it has under the hood I've looked at the official fedora 12 docs and at the information linked from there. I've also read over the http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Drivers and poked around that site for some clue and still have nothin' any help or even just a poke in a useful direction would be appreciated -Drew |
To find the chipset and give us a list of modules loading, post the output of
Code:
/sbin/lspci -vnn |
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, I was able to get it working using the driver attached to this bug. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+s...ux/+bug/401126
