video problems ACER 7720 with Intel X3100 card and fedora 14


I desided to Upgrade to fedora 14 from 13.
When i first started de install DVD the system was unable to start the graphics installer I chose a BASIC VIDEO install and it works fine.
Now I'm ussing these parameters for the kernel to boot (if I eliminate one of them the system crashes at the LOGIN time)
xdriver=vesa nomodeset

uname -r shows

2.6.35.11-83.fc14.x86_64


and lspci shows

OK. Problem solved. Erasing xorg.conf from /etc/X11.

BUT


Other problem arrived.
First. I can't configure the keyboard and keep the configuration from session to session. Where is the archive that keep these data?. I suppose that I need root permissions to write on it.
