I have a Familiar 0.7-pre10 Linux running on my IPAQ H3900
with Opie and I am having problems getting the serial
port on my dual serial port PCMCIA card to work.
When I insert the dual serial port card, these
messages do show up in "dmesg" :
Intel PXA250/210 PCMCIA (CS release 3.1.22)
ipaq_serial_power_hook line=0 state=1
register_serial: port=f6000000 irq=29 flags=1000040
ttyS03 at port 0xf6000000 (irq = 29) is a 16550A
register_serial: port=f6000008 irq=29 flags=1000040
ttyS04 at port 0xf6000008 (irq = 29) is a 16550A
So it seems like the two serial ports on the card
should work. However, I do not see the ttyS03 or
ttyS04 appear under /dev
What is the problem here, please help, thanks in
advance!
