Using cam on Acer 9300 Notebook.

I have absolutely no use for the cam on my Acer Orbicam on my Acer 9300 notebook, but I can't stop playing with it.

Here's the thing. Kopetec can pick up the camera and show the video, but it's way overkill. Also manages to lock up all my konqueror sessions.

So the drivers and everything are working. But I can't get xawtv to see it. I just want to play with the video.

Any suggestions? I'm using SuSE 10.3

Which module is this one using. I have seen Acer Orbicam use as many as three different chipsets. For most of them they recommend the latest module version and usually the beta release or cvs,svn releases of video software like xawtv to work.
