Update Manager Error After Aborted Karmic Koala Install
I attempted to upgrade an Ubuntu 9.04 full version to the 9.10 UNR (Karmic Koala), which installed alongside the existing system to a new partition. Having decided to return to the 9.04 installation, I deleted the 9.10 partition and remerged it into the 9.04 partition using Gparted. Now, however, when Update Manager runs, it asks for the UNR 9.10_Karmic Koala_Release i386 CD. When I do not point it to the installation media, the upgrade aborts.
I don't believe that there is any reason why the existing installation should still be looking for any files relating to Karmic Koala. I assume Update Manager is referencing a configuration or settings file, which may have now obsolete information in it, that I should be able to edit. Is this correct and can someone point me to it or suggest another fix? If this is the wrong forum for this inquiry, please also point me in the direction of where I should be asking.
