Unable to install Wifi on an Aspire One D250 under Ubuntu NBR 10.04
 
Hi, Am unable to successfully install an Atheros WiFi driver on an Aspire One D250 under Ubuntu 10.04. Can anyone offer any help please?. Downloaded what I'd thought was the correct driver however a 'missing compiler' error message appears unfortunately.

Quite frankly the best thing you could do is try to connect your device using the ethernet port and use the Hardware Drivers facility under System--> Administration to try and download and install the drivers. Attempting to do a manual install without any net connection will more than likely lead to dependency issues.
