I have purchased an Acer Aspire 5738z laptop with Windows Vista installed. I want to install Ubuntu on it. It may sound stupid but I am unable to boot from the Ubuntu live cd. Previously in my other systems, pressing F2, F8, F12 or Del would enable me to enter into BIOS setup. But these keys don't seem to be having any effect, except F2 of F8 throw me into the Window Boot Loader screen.
In order to install Ubuntu, I must be able to boot from the cd.
