Unhappy Ubuntu installation hangs on compaq cq50 106au

I am using compaq cq50 106au laptop.It was working fine with xp,but when I tried toinstall ubuntu from live cd after the loadinf screen it gave a black screen written on it


Please wait.....
Busy Box(1.11 enter 'help' for commands)

This problem also occured when I tried linux mint,But went all right when I installed sabayon.So please help me out from here,I really want to install ubuntu
