Ubuntu 8.04 not detecting my wireless card
 
Hi,
Ubuntu 8.04 not able to detect my Wireless card ,
I have done :
sudo lspci | grep -i network
it shows : 0c:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4310 USB Controller (rev 01)

I have Dell laptop vostro 1400 series

But the blue light of WiFi is on.

Im a newbie.
Can anybody help how to configure the wireless card

google is your friend.
What you will find is you need the ndiswrapper to run your original binary windows driver files in Linux for this card.
It is not difficult but can be confusing and time consuming.
