I am new on linux and somebody told me that ubuntu is one of the best distributions. I downloaded it and when i boot from cd everything seems to be fine. Then i hit enter to install it and everything stopps on "Uncompressing Linux... Ok, booting the kernel". I let the notebook run for a long while but nothing happened.
Anyone knows what's wrong?
Maybe its because of the hardware?
