Tungsten T5 wireless Hotsync

After failing to get my T5 to Hotsync through USB (I kept getting messages about hotplug looking for a rule) I wondered whether I could try the wireless network option, which is how I sync it with Windows.

Has anyone got this working? My PC is connected to the network with a cable, but the hub is a wireless router as well.

The T5 is a bitch to get connect with most PIM's under Linux using the USB cable without trying wireless hotsync I suppose if you could configure your wireless router to recognise your Palm and assign it an address, you could try configuring the hotsync to run through an IP address in the same way you can plug your Palm into the cradle on another machine across a network and hotsync with it, but haven't heard anyone try it!

Question T5 Bluetooth HotSync problem

hi,
I made my T5 sync with evolution, but a bit problem, see post at

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=374923

unfortunately, I haven;t got any reply yet. I tried to use bluetooth to do sync, always get error message. it says

HotSync Problem
unable to initiate HotSync operation because the port is in use by another application.

bluetooth sync at Windows XP is ok. There were settings on virtual port. but can't find way in
my system is linux.2.6.13-1.1526_FC4 on HPnx5000 laptop.
Good luck
