Touchpad on Acer TravelMate 240

I recently installed SuSE linux on my Acer TravelMate 240 laptop, and initially the touuhpad worked correctly.

I recently used a USD mouse with the computer, and can not get the touchpad to work again after removing it. I've been through all the available mouse configurations in YaST, but none of them seem to work.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem? I'm new to Linux, so I might not understand ant too technical replies.

Worked for me.

I am not sure about SUSE of course, as I use Debian Sarge.
