toshiba satellite pro 430 cds starting problem

i have toshiba satellite pro 430 cds im not uderstand that how to opperate it.my laptop is not quickly start what do i. plz: help me. i have window 98. i have done two times to new window in my laptop,but my problem is same when i start laptop scandisk not properly done and scan is stop some time i scan stop and window is start and agian window stop and say window 98 disk insert in cd rome and then click ok my laptop is pentom 1 and procesor 122 rame is 16 mb please help me as soon as possible thanks.

You tell us. How the hell are we supposed to know? What does "not properly start" mean? Also, are you actually running Linux? If not, then why post on a Linux forum? :/
