Toshiba L500 shutting down problem

Hi,

I have been using Fedora Core 13 on my L500 Toshiba Laptop. Recently i noticed that my laptop become very hot and it shut down instantly. When i use windows on the same laptop every thing works well but when i used linux this problem arises.

Can any one help me to address this problem? I would be very grateful for any assistance.

Sounds like dust is clogging the air intake. Get some canned compressed air and blast the air intake near the CPU.
