toshiba a40-221 compatibility


Does anybody know about the compatibility of this laptop with Linux and FreeBSD?
Any personal opinions about this model or Toshiba laptops in general would be appreciated.
Specifications:
Intel P4 3.06GHz
512 MB DDR
15'' xga TFT
