Thinkpad SL500 | Arch Linux | suspend &*hibernate problem
Hallo,
I've got a problem with my Thinkpad SL500.I run pm-suspend in /etc/acpi/handler.sh on closing and opening lid. When i close lid, it looks like everything is OK (notebook stops woking and only sleep button is on). But when I open lid it starts normal boot. Don't you have the same problem ?? Don't you know any solution ?? Thanks for every reply. |

check the power management settings. Im using Ubuntu 9.04 on an IBM t40. One of the options is under power management when the laptop lid is closed is suspend. if you have that options try that instead of hibernate. IBMs are funny with hibernate. some work some dont. You also have to have hibernation enabled. (If you press the big blue button while booting) good luck Vanessa |
