Thinkpad 600e laptop suspend/hibernate

I have a TP 600e running Slackware 10.2, I am able to suspend the laptop when closing the lid, however when I open it up, everything starts fine except my pcmcia card. For some reason, I cannot turn the pcmcia card back on after suspending/hibernating the laptop. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Adam
