So I know that there is a Tegra4linux development kit. Anyone working on making a tegra2 based distro? I bought a Viesonic Gtablet with a tegra2 processor. I have been shying away from android because it seems... well I don't want an Ipad because of its limited ability to run 2-3 apps and quickly switch between them. Like if I wanted to write an email address from a website into a database. Android seems to lack that sophistication.
I would like my Tablet to work like linux. I know it can. But there are no distros for it. Except the ubuntu for tegra. But I can not find that other than name only. And its so limited.
In theory any processor could be easily ported to most common OS's. That is not the hard part. Getting the other 99% of a usable system to work is the issue.
yes I have seen that. But it does not seem like a solid rendition of Linux. Just a crappy light version so they can say it runs linux. I have a netbook running a atom 250. Thats almost nothing but it runs gnome at least. I am just hoping someone makes a decent linux for tegra2
