Question sync laptop with desktop

Not to long ago I installed fedora core 2 on my new ibm T41 laptop. The installation went very smooth and it wasn't hard to find rpms built for the kernel modules for my internal wireless card. So everything is fine and i'm having tons of fun with it.
All is fine and dandy but i'd like to know the easiest way of syncing my home directories on my desktop and laptop. Mainly i'd like to have my mail, documents, gpg stuff, and dev stuff in sync with each other on both systems. How is the best way to go about this?

rsync has some disadvantages, it's better for mirroring. I'm using unison, there also exists a gui called unison-gtk
